Dr. Farhaad Riyaz is an American dermatologist and a trained Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgeon. His primary areas of interest include skin cancer, Mohs surgery and complex facial reconstruction, cosmetics, clinical trials and more. He received his undergraduate degree at the Virginia Commonwealth University in Biomedical Engineering and his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia, where he was first in his class and was the President of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. His internship was spent at St. Joseph Mercy in Ann Arbor, Michigan and his three-year residency was at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan, where he was the Chief Resident. After this he completed a formal Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois and a yearlong ASDS-accredited fellowship in cosmetic dermatology.
